A Pocket Album for Tags – MY PRECIOUS BOY
Hi! Today I’m going to show you a different album that I made using My Precious Boy collection. This collection is so colourful, with happy tones of colours that are perfect for spring time.
First I started cutting out tags, using die cutting machine, after that I glued the places for photos and attached tags together, so they were twosided. Then I folded six pockets for the tags and attached them also to eachother, so they created a accordion. After that it was time to make the covers for the pockets and tags. For that I used 3 mm thick cardboard, that I covered at first with white thick flannel, and the flannel I covered with blue cotton fabric. For decoration I created a layered look with cutouts from the set of MY PRECIOUS GIRL & BOY – EXTRAS II. I also added some paperflowers, metallic leaves, branch shaped chipboards that I covered with white gesso and sparkling embossing powder. And my favourite part of decorating my album was adding some more toppings.
Here you can see the tutorial,
and presentation video,
and there’re also some pictures and close-ups for the album.
What’s your favourite size for albums? Do you prefer building up the albums by yourself or you love using the blank albums to decorate?
